I'm a Maker, Coder, and a Musician. The Associate Director of Admissions at Columbia University SIPA by day.
About
I'm Andres, the Associate Director of Admissions at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). My MS is in Management of Technology from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and my professional background is primarily in Agile Project Management in custom Software Development and, more recently, managing research, outreach, and admissions projects within academia.
The private sector taught me how to manage complex projects, cross-functional teams, and unforgiving timelines and budgets. Academia has offered me the opportunity to apply those skills to a cause that I'm proud of.
